About these listings

All 31 matching casinos in our review feed. These are not marked restricted for Canada at country level; this does not confirm local licensing or your account eligibility. State, provincial and operator restrictions can still apply. Casino promotions and blackjack eligibility are labelled separately. Operator exclusions checked during offer research are also applied.

Find the official starting point for your province

Select where you will actually be playing. This directory points to official sources; it does not certify that a particular account, promotion or blackjack table is available to you.

Start with your locationThe guide below remains available without using the selector.
Ontario: private operators and OLG

Use iGaming Ontario’s official directory for sites under its conduct and management. Its casino route is 19+ and requires physical presence in Ontario to wager. The directory separately identifies OLG.ca as legally operated by OLG.

Alberta: the market is open

The Alberta government confirms the regulated market launched on 13 July 2026. AiGC manages the market and operator agreements; AGLC is the regulator. Use the current AiGC directory rather than a pre-launch list.

Other provincial starting points
Location Official source Eligibility and game checks
British Columbia PlayNow BC The official FAQ requires BC residency and age 19+. Confirm current physical-location conditions and the specific table.
Manitoba PlayNow Manitoba Its eligibility list includes Manitoba residency, age 18+ and physical presence in Manitoba.
Saskatchewan PlayNow Saskatchewan Use the Saskatchewan service and its local requirements, including age 19+. Do not reuse BC assumptions.
Québec Loto-Québec / Espacejeux The service requires age 18+, Québec residency and physical presence in Québec.
Atlantic provinces Atlantic Lottery Check the current catalogue and provincial conditions separately for New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador. Do not assume identical live tables.
Territories Local authorities; free practice This guide has not verified a territorial real-money online blackjack service. Registration acceptance at an offshore site is not evidence of approval.

There is no single “Canada accepted” badge that answers every provincial question. A brand can use separate websites, legal entities, accounts and bonus terms for different provinces. Follow the official directory to the local website and compare that address with the page you are using.

  1. Confirm location and age. Residence, physical location and account age checks are separate requirements. Ontario’s ability to access an account outside the province does not mean you can place wagers there.
  2. Check the local operator. An approval in Ontario does not establish authorization for the same brand in Alberta or another province.
  3. Check the product. A sportsbook or lottery account does not guarantee access to live or digital blackjack.
  4. Read customer protections. Look for limits, self-exclusion, complaints procedures and identity checks before funding an account.

Offshore is a separate category. An overseas licence, Canadian-dollar balance or Interac logo does not establish provincial authorization. This guide’s official-directory links are for verification; the country-acceptance list above must not be treated as a list of provincially approved choices.

Compare the table, not just the casino

Two blackjack games in the same lobby can have different rules. Open the information panel before setting a stake; a provider name, familiar table colour or a “VIP” label does not tell you the mathematical conditions.

Blackjack rules worth checking
Rule What to look for Why it matters
Natural blackjack 3:2 rather than 6:5 on a standard game A winning C$10 natural pays C$15 profit at 3:2, versus C$12 at 6:5. Your stake is returned in both cases; dealer blackjack changes the outcome.
Soft 17 Whether the dealer stands (S17) or hits (H17) Use the matching strategy chart. With other rules equal, standing on soft 17 is better for the player.
Doubling and splitting Allowed totals, double after split, and split-ace restrictions These affect both your available decisions and the additional money a round may require.
Dealer blackjack check Peek, no-hole-card and additional-bet treatment Check whether doubles and split bets are lost when the dealer later reveals blackjack.
Side bets and special variants Separate paytables and modified main-game rules A side bet is not part of basic strategy for the main hand. Free Bet, multipliers and other features can change settlement.

Compare live blackjack providers and table rules, or read our digital versus live comparison. A live dealer changes the presentation and pace; it does not, by itself, establish a better payout or lower house edge.

Canadian-dollar accounts and payment checks

Look for a clearly stated account currency and read the cashier before accepting a bonus. If a site offers Interac, cards, a bank transfer or an e-wallet, check the particular method’s eligibility, account-name requirements, costs and withdrawal support. A deposit method may not also be a withdrawal method.

Ask your bank as well as the casino

Financial institutions set their own gambling-transaction policies. iGaming Ontario specifically advises players to check these with their bank. A declined transaction is not a reason to disguise the payment.

Check the whole withdrawal process

Read the operator’s review window, document requirements and payment-provider processing time. Check whether a currency conversion or intermediary fee changes the amount you receive.

iGaming Ontario: player FAQs

Use only your own account and money you can afford to lose. Keep a copy of the accepted offer, transaction reference and support correspondence. If an account or payout is disputed, follow the operator’s formal complaint route and the relevant provincial body’s instructions.

Read the blackjack terms before accepting a bonus

A casino welcome offer is not automatically a blackjack offer. Check the exact game, contribution rate, excluded variants, maximum permitted bet, expiry and cashout restrictions. “Casino bonus” may still mean that blackjack contributes nothing.

A contribution example: if an offer requires C$100 of qualifying wagering and blackjack contributes 10%, C$10 staked counts as C$1 toward that requirement. It would take C$1,000 of blackjack stakes to generate C$100 of qualifying wagering, before any other conditions. This is an arithmetic illustration, not a live offer or a recommendation to complete a bonus.

Compare playing with your own funds and no bonus. A larger headline amount can be less useful than clear withdrawal terms. Save the terms you accepted and ask support about any ambiguity before opting in.

Practise before you put money at risk

Our free games use virtual chips with no cash value. Use them to learn the controls and practise decisions, then review mistakes against the rules you selected. A practice bankroll, score or leaderboard position is not a prediction of real-money results.

Canadian online blackjack questions
Is Ontario the only province with a regulated private iGaming market?

No. Alberta’s government confirms its regulated market opened on 13 July 2026. Use the current Alberta directory and local rules rather than older articles saying its launch is still pending.

Can I use my Ontario account while visiting another province?

iGaming Ontario says account access can be available outside Ontario, but wagers on its regulated accounts cannot be placed while physically outside the province. Other services have their own conditions.

Does Interac acceptance prove a casino is approved in Canada?

No. Payment acceptance and provincial gambling authorization are different checks. Start with the appropriate official directory or provincial service.

Is the minimum age 18 everywhere?

No. Requirements differ. The official sources linked here state 19+ for iGO sites, PlayNow BC and PlayNow Saskatchewan, and 18+ for PlayNow Manitoba and Loto-Québec. Read your service’s full eligibility rules.

Does the same provider offer identical blackjack across Canada?

Not necessarily. The catalogue, rules and table limits can vary between operators and provinces. Compare the exact in-game information.

Are practice chips redeemable for Canadian dollars?

No. Our free practice chips have no cash value and cannot be redeemed or withdrawn.
