Single deck blackjack is a poor game in most Las Vegas casinos. Most single deck games in Las Vegas pay 6-5 on blackjack, not the standard 3-2. A game that pays 6-5 should be avoided entirely, regardless of the number of decks. There are a handful of casinos that still offer a table or two of 3-2 single deck, but those places are not worth going out of your way to play. None tolerate play at other than low levels. Playable single deck games can still be found in greater Reno and in Wendover. Because the 6-5 games should be avoided and we do not even consider them to be genuine blackjack, we do not list them in the survey below.

– The “tables” columns show total tables, some of which might have been closed when the reporter visited.
– The “edge” columns shows the percent advantage the casino has over a basic-strategy player.
