Internet betting firm Kindred (formerly Unibet) is bringing their Unibet brand to Pennsylvania, thanks to an agreement with the Mohegan Sun Pocono casino, which will let the company offer online blackjack to punters.

Pennsylvania is in the midst of offering online gambling to those within their borders, and online groups are working to integrate into the Keystone State, which hosts large cities such as Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. The agreement will see online casino games such as blackjack, slots, and other table games being deployed online through the resort, as well as a Unibet branded sportsbetting lounge.

Unibet is well-regarded as a major European online gambling group, and they’ve done well to introduce a number of blackjack games as well as live dealer titles in their markets. No timetable for the launch of the products was available as of press time, but it will likely be a bit before those in the state will see the games go live.

“We are excited and proud to extend our US footprint into one of the largest US states to regulate both online sports betting and casino,” said Kindred Senior VP of the US Market Manuel Stan.

“Finding a strong partner who shares Kindred’s dedication to customer experience and values has been critical, and I am delighted that we have found just that in Mohegan Sun Pocono.”

Mohegan Sun‘s Aviram Alroy also commented, noting: “We’ve aligned with one of the best online casino and sport book operators in online regulated markets which will allow us to offer best in class experience to our existing customers as well as attracting new ones,” Mohegan Gaming and Entertainment vice-president interactive gaming.”

“Introduction of the Kindred offering to the market is a great positive for Mohegan Sun as well as the state of Pennsylvania.”
