This week the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board dished out more than $480,000 in fines to gaming companies, one of whom creates sidebets for blackjack games.

The largest fine came to American Gaming Systems for failing to disclose that they purchased intellectual property with In Bet Gaming. IBG develops a lot of sidebets for various blackjack games, including Jackpot Blackjack and Super 4 Blackjack, as well as other table games. IBG has a gaming license in the Keystone State, but there isn’t a license in place for AGS. Interestingly, this isn’t the problem, but the lack of disclosure in the intellectual property is. AGS was fined $351,000 for the infraction, while IBG got a $56,000 penalty.

Three other companies were also given fines. Among these were the Valley Forge Casino for giving out excess free slots play, Ditronics Financial Services for late filing of financial statements. Valley Forge had a $50,000 fine, while Ditronics got $24,000 in fines.

The fines have been approved by the Board and will be required to be paid in full by each respective company.
